NFU Mutual 2021 Chairman’s Speech
Clear, consistent business communication is always important but during a pandemic it is vital. The Collective has a long-standing relationship with NFU Mutual and were able to support the creation and delivery of this significant video project for them.
The NFU Mutual Chairman’s speech addresses board members, customers and staff. Their 2021 annual update was particularly crucial due to the outbreak of Coronavirus which, for the first time, necessitated the address taking place via video, hosted externally online and on demand.
Filmed on location in Aberdeen, Scotland by our team, the Chairman presented direct to camera in a home studio, green screen setup and outside in a farm environment. Multiple cameras gave post-production flexibility and utilising a teleprompter meant filming the 17-minute script was accurate and efficient, allowing the team to capture everything in a single day.
A full storyboard created prior to filming ensured the production matched the result required and additional farm scenes were staged and directed to feel natural, giving dynamic visual interest to support the script.
During editing we integrated existing footage from the clients’ previous projects and subtitles were added to ensure content was accessible and enhanced the viewing from devices such as phones and tablets. On brand motion graphics were created to highlight stats and illustrate key messages.
This project was successfully delivered enabling NFU Mutual to communicate through the best possible media to engage and inform their audience.
